What “ready to paint” means
Ready to paint does not mean the doors are painted in your color. It means a primer coat has been applied so your final coating process can begin sooner. Always follow the final paint manufacturer’s instructions for scuffing, cleaning, compatibility and cure time.

Primed is usually the easier choice when a homeowner or local painter will apply the final color. Raw is often better for a professional shop with a preferred sealer and primer system.
