The cabinet boxes matter more than the brand
A replacement project starts with the condition and dimensions of the existing cabinets. The original brand can help identify a style, but the physical door size, overlay, hinge position and opening clearances determine whether the new doors fit.
Measure every door—not just one sample
Older kitchens often contain small differences created by fillers, end panels, corner cabinets and previous repairs. Measure width first and height second to the nearest 1/16 inch. Label every door and drawer front so the new pieces can return to the correct location.
Decide whether the hinges are staying
Reusing hinges can simplify installation, but only when the old hardware is in good condition and the cup boring can be duplicated accurately. Send photos and center measurements. Replacing hinges may change the overlay and final door size.
Matching an old profile
Some older profiles can be matched closely; others are no longer made. Send a front photo and a side-angle photo. We will identify the closest available routed profile and explain differences before quoting.
